چکیده
Nile Delta which covers approximately 60,000 square kilometers represents the most important gas province in Egypt whereas its fields provide two-thirds of production Egypt. The begins to display hydrocarbon potentiality early 1960s. Nidoco field is located shallow water offshore delta. Abu Madi formation (Messinian age) through all section where it main producing reservoirs Field. coming from two sand reservoir levels; level 2&3 are characterized by fluvial-deltaic sandstones. purpose this paper perceive Messinian bearing and channelized distribution inside using seismic attributes amplitude versus offset (AVO) technique. results indicated that AVO aided give a complete picture about characterization field. Also show there still promising locations prospective Level proposed be drilled

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Integration of Seismic and Petrophysics to Characterize Reservoirs in “ALA” Oil Field, Niger Delta
In the exploration and production business, by far the largest component of geophysical spending is driven by the need to characterize (potential) reservoirs. The simple reason is that better reservoir characterization means higher success rates and fewer wells for reservoir exploitation. In this research work, seismic and well log data were integrated in characterizing the reservoirs on "ALA" ...
متن کاملAmplitude versus Offset (AVO) Technique for Light Hydrocarbon Exploration: A Case Study
AVO as a known methodology is used to identify fluid type and reservoir lithology in subsurface exploration. Method discussed in this paper, consists of three stages, including: Direct modeling, Inverse modeling and Cross plot interpretation. By direct modeling we can clarify lithology or fluid dependent attributes. Analysis performed using both P-P and P-Sv attributes. Inverse modeling deals w...
متن کاملHuman-induced sedímentologícal changes in Manzala Lagoon, Nile Delta, Egypt
The Manzala Lagoon in Egypt's Nile ' »elta has become a sediment sink of reduced area and depth, with increased contaminant levels. Loss of much-needed fresh to brackish water reserves and decreased fish catches have serious ramifications. Herein, maps of temporal and regional sediment distributions in Manzala incorporate petrological and statistical analyses of 200 surficial and short core sam...
متن کاملPore throat size characterization of carbonate reservoirs by integrating core data, well logs and seismic attributes
Investigation of pore system properties of carbonate reservoirs has an important role in evaluating the reservoir quality and delineating high production intervals. The current study proposes a three-step approach for pore throat size characterization of these reservoirs, by integrating core data, well logs and 3D seismic volume. In this respect, first the pore throats size was calculated using...
